Garlic Walnut Sauce
Ingredients

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cup fresh parsley , loosely packed

1 clove garlic

1 tablespoon oil (walnut or olive oil)

1 to 2 tablespoons hot water

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Put ingredients in a blender or small food processor. Puree about 30 seconds on high. Add water to desired consistency. Serve as a sauce for meat, fish, fowl, or pasta. You can also use it as a spread for crackers or bread.
Makes about half a cup
Each tablespoon serving contains about 48 calories, 1 gram protein, 7 grams fat, 1 gram carbohydrate, 1 gram fiber, and 14 mg sodium.
